An important goal of Partnership's Access to Care action team is to ensure 100% insurance enrollment for all eligible Johnson County residents.
The new Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP 2.0) is the state's health insurance program for ages 19-64 and may pay for medical, vision and dental expenses for those who qualify.
Hoosiers with a monthly individual income of $1404 couples up to $1,864 or a family of four $2,828 may qualify.
What Mom needs to do to enroll:
-Call the Johnson County WIC Office at 317-736-6628
-Attend 4 prenatal smoking cessation sessions
-Agree to take a monthly breath test to prove staying tobacco free to be able to receive $25 diaper/wipe voucher.
-Commit to quit smoking and stay quit during pregnancy to be eligible for vouchers.
-Stay smoke free after baby is born and receive a monthly voucher for up to 12 months!
-Support person in home living with prenatal that also smokes but stays smoke free are also eligible for the voucher for mom to use.
